The beautiful designer kitchens are a testament to the thought given to their creation.
Due to the high ceilings it has been possible to employ architectural features such as a lowered ceiling over the kitchen area to achieve a separation of space from the living area and in the prestige finish to house the ducted air-conditioning system that services the living area.
Bench tops are the magnificent WK Marble and Granite “Pearly Shores”, the most expensive composite
stone bench top available. (Should you choose the prestige timber floor finish the interior designer recommends bench tops be the equally stunning granite “Kashmir White” bench tops). Composite stone is regarded as the most functional and durable bench tops available – and the products chosen for Evolution on Gardiner are just perfect to compliment the contemporary feeling of the whole home.
The practical island bench will be a social gathering point for family and friends. The wide overhung top is a perfect casual dining area or just a place to watch the chef at work. The island bench is also a functional preparation area – and in the Type A and D floor plan houses twin stainless steel Oliveri under mount sinks, a Grohe sink mixer (with extendable vegetable spray in the prestige finish), a separate stainless steel dual-filtered drinking water tap, and an InSinkErator with air switch. In the Type B and C floor plan the undermount Oliveri sinks are located in the benchtop overlooking the entry courtyard window, allowing the island bench to be a completely free surface.
Optimum storage space is provided via two full height pull out pantry cupboards with stainless steel drawers, eighteen large drawers with Blums soft close blu-motion closers in the prestige finish), over head cupboards, under bench cupboards at the island bench and a purpose built ladder cupboard (inclusive of a ladder to reach those higher areas due to the high ceiling heights). Splashbacks behind the cooktops are full height Silverfrost backpainted glass.

Each designer home will come with markfree stainless steel Baumatic appliances conveniently placed together in a work centre and include:
- A 60cm pyrolitic, 9 multifunction, triple glazed door, wall Oven. The beauty of this oven is the auto clean pyrolitic function. (A 90cm oven is an optional choice);
- A 60cm, 12 place settings, 8 program, anti flood, self cleaning, concealed controls, Dishwasher conveniently mounted off the floor, with a specific service door;
- A 25 litre convectionMicrowave oven;
- An in-built espresso Coffee Machine:
- A 90cm wall mounted, stainless steel and aluminum with glass visor, high extraction, stainless steel filters, twin halogen lights, 6 speed control Rangehood for the cook top;
- and a 60cm Pizza stone for the oven and a cast iron griddle plate for the cook top.
- The Rangehood will be externally ducted to remove cooking odors and heat from the kitchen.
Each designer home will come with the magnificent Highland Osca series dual fuel Cooktop. With a ceramic glass and stainless steel “scotchbrite” finish the Cooktop has 3 gas burners with removable cast iron, vitreous enamel coated, trivets and a dual zone electric, ceramic top element ideal for simmer cooking. The gas burners include a powerful 17mj wok burner, and a 10mj and a 7mj burner. (A 6 burner wholly gas Highland Professional
series Cooktop which is the most powerful Cooktop on the domestic market – with 2 x 22mj burners – is an option).
In the prestige standard finish the cupboard verticals will be timber veneer with a lacquer finish, except in the “timber” finish where polyurethane white satin finish is recommended. In the deluxe standard finish the cupboard verticals will be a timber look laminate.
The only major kitchen appliance not included is the refrigerator. The fridge space will be 1.1 metres wide and supplied with power and a water tap outlet to permit the installation of an ice/water dispensing 2 door refrigerator. The fridge installed in the display apartment is a stainless steel door, Jenair, 630 litre capacity ice/water dispensing fridge with full length stainless steel handles that perfectly match the kitchen cabinet handles.
