unique design feature of every apartment is the inclusion at each front
entrance of a private entry courtyard which has a 1.8 metre
high wall (and access door) to the lift side common verandah. This courtyard
wall acts as an exterior firewall thereby enabling the inclusion of a front
window and a glazed front door to the apartment. The benefits of this design
feature include increased light and breezes through the
apartment and a space for potted plants, water falls, hat rack etc prior
to entering the more formal internal space of each apartment. Each courtyard
will be tiled with a rather special and not inexpensive feature tile called
Giaetto 
White
– an earthy looking and feeling tile that will be completely appropriate
for this special entrance space. The courtyard door and the glazed front
door of the apartment are 1.1 metres wide providing a feeling of grandeur
and as well functionality for moving furniture.
